Terry Lee Denning, 73, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025, at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was born November 30, 1951, in Cincinnati to George and Lola “Bonnie” Jackson Denning, Terry grew up in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and graduated from Lawrenceburg High School. As a young man, Terry achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, a distinction he carried with pride throughout his life. Over the years he held many roles, from sales to logistics, and was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to help wherever he was needed.
Beyond work, Terry enjoyed going to the casino and spending time with his family and his dog, Booger. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his gift for storytelling.
Terry is survived by his wife, Karen Denning; daughter, Amanda (Kevin) Purcell; son, Adam (Melissa) Denning; granddaughters, Delia and Lola Purcell; brothers, Tim (Janelle) Denning and Joe (Debbie) Denning; sisters, Linda Denning, Peggy Weisbarth, and Marie (Terry) Edwards; as well as many other beloved family members. He was preceded in death by his father, George J. Denning; mother, Lola “Bonnie” Denning; and brother, Thomas G. Denning.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 5-8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
