Patricia Kay Bailey, 72, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away at 9:36 PM, Tuesday, May 5th, 2015 at The Waters of Rising Sun. Pat was born in Milan, IN on September 27, 1942, a daughter of the late Dorothy (Whitham) and Raymond Dickerson. She attended school at Cass-Union and Rising Sun. Pat worked for several years at Monsanto, which was known as Bayer when she retired. She was a member of the Bethel Unity Baptist Church and the Rising Sun Eastern Star. Pat was the widow of Robert Leon Bailey who passed away in 1998.
Patricia is survived by a son Robin Bailey and his wife Shelia Jane of Port Orange, FL; by granddaughters Jamie Bailey Chase and Brogan Bailey; by great grandchildren Ashton, Easton, Eli and Bobby. She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband Robert and by her grandson Michael Lee Bailey. Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Monday, May 11 at the Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN with Pastor Jim Jackson officiating. Friends are invited to call Sunday 5-8 PM at Markland Funeral Home with Eastern Star services at 7 PM. Burial will be at Rising Sun New Cemetery.
