Cyriac "Cy" Wegman Jr., 80, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2012.
He was born Sunday, July 5, 1931, in Covington, Kentucky, son of the late Cyriac and Lauretta (Reed) Wegman.
He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.
He was a member of the St. Martin Catholic Church; loved to fish, play cards, garden, throw horshoes; and was an excellent cook.
He worked as a Sales Engineer for General Electric.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Alice Moser Wegman; 2 sons, Cyriac (wife Jill) Wegman III, Matthew (wife Tammy) Wegman; 4 daughters, Vicki (husband Bob) Cianciolo, Andrea (husband Wayne) Chipman, Laura (husband Sam) Patton, Nicole Wegman; sister, Eileen Guilfoyle Pilger; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Balsiger.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Martin Catholic Church, Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 6pm with Father Sengold Thomas officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. Martin Cemetery, Yorkville, Indiana.
